Scott’s passion for building from a young age led him to completing his carpentry apprenticeship straight out of school in the early 90’s. He has never looked back.
I work with renovations, extensions & alterations specialising in restricted access. Not forgetting the small (but just as important stuff), of adjusting doors, replacing outdated/weathered windows, building decking, verandas and outdoor living spaces. I have an established network of trades to support any project to the highest standard.
I’m an experienced contractor with knowledge passed down from three generations.

About Me
Hi, I’m Scott
Born and bred in the inner west of Melbourne. I love the diversity of the west and all that it offers, especially to young families.
My grandfather and dad showed me the tools at an early age and I was mesmerized by the process of creating! I was fortunate enough to work with them both throughout my apprenticeship and early years, learning a few inside tricks of the trade.
I started Summerwood Homes in 1995 with the aim of helping people to create their dream homes. With three kids I understand the growing needs of a family home.
